"I would highly recommend Mr. Torres. My son is a Riverwood student (junior) and Mr. Torres tutored him earlier this year in 10th grade Math 2. I can't say enough good things about him. He is very knowledgeable about the material. He also has a great way of explaining it so the kids "get it". My son often left the sessions saying he had a clear understanding of a concept that he had struggled with in class for several weeks. Mr. Torres also does a great job of customizing the material and his approach to your child's needs. He takes an accurate pulse of the student's abilities and focuses on strengthening any areas of weakness. He also recommends areas (pages in the book, etc.) that need to be worked on at home. Another thing that was helpful to me was Mr. Torres' flexibility and willingness to work with my schedule. He was professional, patient, prompt, and had a very open, approachable demeanor. Again, Mr. Torres has my highest recommendation. My only regret with using Mr. Torres is that we didn't find him earlier in the school year. My son appears to be off to a good start with math this year. However, if there is even a slight sign of him struggling, we have every intention of utilizing Mr. Torres' services again."
